Scotland’s National Action Plan on Business & Human Rights – Scotland’s ONLY Third Sector Consultation

Scotland’s ONLY Third Sector Consultation

Join us for the ONLY Third Sector Consultation on Scotland’s National Action Plan for Business & Human Rights in Scotland.

Carole Ewart, Public Policy and Human Rights Consultant and Diego Quiroz of the Scottish Human Rights Commission will facilitate the session providing a briefing on what a National Action Plan for Business & Human Rights is, why it’s important to the Third Sector and the people we work with and how all of us can contribute to safe guarding and advancing human rights through the individual and collective decisions we make.

We’re absolutely delighted that Cllr Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council will join us to Chair the event and look forward to hearing your thoughts, views and opinions throughout the session. At the end of the event, we’ll feed back to the Scottish Government and the Scottish Human Rights Commission on what we, the Third Sector, believe must be included in the Action Plan to ensure that human rights can be protected and strengthened through good practice in business, procurement and commissioning.

The Session will end with Lunch at 1.30pm.
